Vodkow Cream Liquor

Vodkow and Cream Dairy Distillery.jpeg

In a truly novel approach to making spirits, Dairy Distillery founder, Omid McDonald and his team distil unused milk sugar into a voluptuous lactose-free spirit they call Vodkow. Much like a rich and creamy vodka, it has enough flavour that you want to sip it neat and at room temperature. Now they have added Vodkow Cream Liquor to their line-up.

McDonald and his team make Vodkow Cream Liquor by blending just three ingredients: Vodkow, cream and sugar. Rich, creamy and as milkshake flavourful as it is, they have not added any other flavouring or colour. Dairy Distillery recently purchased its own homogenizer which allows it to make its base cream in-house and, in turn, produce Vodkow Cream Liquor entirely in the distillery in the small Eastern Ontario town of Almonte.

Dairy's Vodkow Cream becomes Canada's only lactose-free dairy cream liquor and has the added distinction of being the first spirit labelled with the prestigious Dairy Farmers of Canada's “blue cow" quality milk designation.

Bottled at 17% abv it adds zip to your morning coffee and Vodkow Cream Liquor on ice, with a sprinkle of nutmeg simply screams “Christmas.”
